First, ensure your instance meets the requirements outlined here. In particular:

When using the Advanced Threat Detection feature, a minimum of 2GB of heap is required, and 3GB is recommended.

You also need to make sure the instance has outbound network access.

If this doesn't work, please open a support ticket.

You’ll find your license Id on your account portal. Once you have that value, you can paste it into the FusionAuth instance to activate the license.

You should find your license on your account page, which you can log into here: https://account.fusionauth.io/

Here is a guide on activating your license: https://fusionauth.io/docs/v1/tech/reactor/

      We have a license FAQ.

If course, if your questions aren't answered there, please feel free to send us an email.

      Hiya,

Unless you want to use the premium features of FusionAuth, this usage would be allowed under the FusionAuth license and you could use the community edition to host it for free.

Here's a license FAQ that hopefully makes things more clear.

You should read the FusionAuth license, or, rather, have your employers do so.

We've also created a license FAQ which answers common questions about FusionAuth usage. I think this is the relevant section:

I sell downloadable software that contains FusionAuth. What type of license do I need?

      And the answer:

You will need a reseller license for FusionAuth in order to resell it to your customers. This license is usually charged per customer rather than per monthly active user. You should contact our sales team to discuss licensing options. They can be reached at sales@fusionauth.io.

Actually, as of when I write this post, we have two license keys available for anyone with a paid edition. One is a prod license and the other is a non prod license. The latter is a good fit for testing, CI, etc.

You'll need to be on version >= 1.15.0 to enable to enter the license code.

      Hiya,

I got an answer for you about sunset provisions.

We have discussed source code escrow options with clients in the past. We can also offer a source code release clause (in the event FusionAuth goes out of business). However, these are only options if you are on an Enterprise plan with a custom contract.

Hope that helps you make the right decision for your application(s).
